Future decision

It's time to think about the future.

As far as the current situation is concerned, after four years of university, I have learned a lot in the direction of digital media art. I can say that I have learned almost all forms of artistic expression: graphic, animation, games, visual art, digital programming...

But in fact, based on what I have learned so far, I found that the final destination of the students is either to go to games or to do film and television-related job, or user experience design... Then What is the difference comparing with the students who learn graphics, games, and animation?

People say that the profession of digital media is very promising. I have made a brief analysis on this point. According to some of the most popular art exhibitions in the world, people are beginning to no longer stick to traditional display methods, and computer technology and even scientific technology have begun to be used. These novel artistic display methods directly attract those who have become accustomed to the old display methods. The uses of computer technology and projection technology in artistic works also expand the artist's imagination. These new arts are called new media arts. It started in the early 21st century and became popular all over the world, but now that technology is constantly being updated and the Internet is the main mode of communication, this new art that combines technology does have very good development prospects(people like to watch these works, The artist’s creative space is also very large), coupled with the fact that these works of art are constantly being placed in public places and used in commercial places, this form of artistic expression will become a future trend.

I can understand the school's teaching methods (almost all the artistic expression methods that require the use of computers have been taught in four years). Because no matter how the form of artistic expression changes, the core is still 2d, 3d, whether it is interactive or not, involving user experience... But the downside of this is that I don't feel like I have learned anything (meaning I am not particularly proficient in any direction).

So I decided to choose a direction to continue learning.
